Adorn your yard with the Delta Moonlight Crapemyrtle. It's part of the Southern Living Plant Collection. This Crapemyrtle produces white blooms against dark burgundy cupped foliage. It grows into a small tree or large shrub and will work well in the landscape when you plant it as an accent or in a mass planting. The effect complements a huge range of garden styles. This variety is deciduous and will drop its leaves in Winter. It's especially suited for USDA Zone 7 through USDA Zone 9 with a preference for full sun to partial shade. When you're planting this Crapemyrtle, dig the hole twice as wide as the pot and mix rich garden soil in with your native soil. Then leave the top of the root ball 0.5" above the ground level as you fill the hole with soil. Use a slow-release granular fertilizer in Spring, and water it twice a week until it's established. This Crapemyrtle plant will ship dormant in winter and is not guaranteed to be in bloom on arrival.
