English Ivy is a fast growing evergreen woody perennial. It is commonly grown as a groundcover or a trailing vine. Once it matures it will produce tiny greenish-white flowers in early Fall. When planting this ivy, dig the hole twice as wide as the pot and mix rich garden soil in with your native soil, then leave the top of the root ball 1/2 inch above the ground level when filling the hole with soil. Use a slow release granular fertilizer in Spring.
