A professional and organic greenhouse quality mix made for seed starting. This is recommended soil material for Jiffy-Pots®, Jiffy-Strips®, and/ or Jiffy® Greenhouses. This quality mix is made with Canadian Sphagnum Peat Moss. This mix contains 50% - 60% sphagnum peat moss, vermiculite, coir pith and lime for pH balance. Peat Moss can hop up to 20x it's weight in water, provides aeration for plant roots and helps retain nutrients plants need. Vermiculite prevents soil compaction, retains moisture and improves aeration. Can soak up to 3-4x it's volume in water! The specially formulated seed starting soil was designed to replicate greenhouse conditions in your home. Jiffy Organic Seed Starting Mix will result in excellent germination of your seeds.
