Grow big, beautiful orchid blooms with Miracle-Gro® Orchid Potting Mix Coarse Blend. This potting mix is specially formulated for Epiphyte Orchid types, including Phalaenopsis, Cattleya, Epidendrum, and Dendrobium. Feeds plants for up to 6 months. The mix provides quick drainage for orchid types that require good air movement and drier conditions between waterings. To use, select a pot with a drain hole. Fill the pot about 1/3 full. Loosen the root ball of your plant before placing it in the new pot. Fill the rest of the pot with potting mix, leaving about 1/2 inch between the soil surface and pot rim. Water and let drain. We recommend wearing gloves when using this product. Make sure soil is dry to the touch between waterings. Depending on the individual plant’s needs, orchids should be repotted every 18 to 24 months.
