Help promote strong root development with Miracle-Gro® Sphagnum Peat Moss. Enriched with Miracle-Gro® plant food, this mix helps promote strong root development. This easy-to-use mix retains moisture and nutrients, and helps lighten heavy potting mixes or native soil. Use it in container plants and in-ground plants. This plant care product can be used as an ingredient to blend your own potting mix (equal parts Sphagnum Peat Moss and pre-mixed potting mix). Blend your own seed starting mix (1 part Sphagnum Peat Moss and one part Miracle-Gro® Perlite). This product can also be used to improve native soil (one part Sphagnum Peat Moss and 1 part native soil). We recommend wearing gardening gloves when using this planting material. Let mix dry to the touch between waterings. To avoid compaction and replenish nutrients, container plants should be repotted with fresh soil annually. For best results, feed your plants regularly using Miracle-Gro® plant food.
