For example, if your plant is 46” tall the first 10” are the planter, followed by 36” of plant height. Hibiscus are a gorgeous tropical flower! Use the hibiscus plant to add pops of color all over your patio or landscape. The hibiscus flower is approximately 5 inches in diameter. Hibiscus plants attracts hummingbirds and butterflies. Proper Care: Hibiscus plants do best in temperatures from 60 to 90°F. These plants cannot tolerate freezing temperatures. These plants do best with full sun to partial shade, but prefer 6-8 hours of direct sunlight. For watering, during summer/hot months the Hibiscus plant should be watered daily. It will also require lots of water while in bloom. During cooler months Hibiscus plants do not need as much water; only water if the soil feels dry to the touch. In this circumstance, overwatering can result in the death of the Hibiscus plant.
